8-Station Automatic Water-Stop Rod Welder

This machine was developed specifically for welding the locating pins of water-stop tie rods. All welds on a rod are completed in one clamping, and a single operator can run it. A dedicated unit welds a pair of pins in 0.2 seconds — more than 800 rods per hour — and changing size needs only a simple adjustment.

Maximum welding diameter is 20 mm. Microcomputer control gives speed, simplicity, reliable quality and low cost.

Why automate. Constant welding conditions give uniform, neat joints and a pass rate above 99%; automatic wire feed and cutting save labour; the welding current is adjustable for different materials. The ARM-based controller is immune to interference and lasts ten years or more. Daily output exceeds 8,000 pieces.
